Depleted Uranium - the Silent Killer

Dalton, himself a victim of Agent Orange, highlights the lies told by the US government about depleted uranium (DU) that DU is harmless, never telling about the permanent disabilities to come to every soldier who fights in Iraq! So even if a soldier comes home in one physical piece, the weapons he used to kill others will haunt him for the rest of his life via depleted uranium contaminating his entire body. World Prout Assembly says, the lies of the US Pentagon and US government must be exposed, so that young boys eager to "serve" their country know the truth of what will happen to them even if they manage to make it back home.

Since the first Gulf War in 1991 the U.S. has been using weapons, bullets and bombs made with Depleted Uranium. It was used in Kosovo, Bosnia, Serbia, and now in Iraq and Afghanistan--again. The first use being in 1991--Gulf War 1.

While a great many' of the worlds health organizations, and some of the leading experts on depleted uranium condemn the use of DU as a form of "nuclear war" the United States Department of Defense and the Pentagon continue to cling to their published statements that DU does not harm humans.

How absurd--this is the same bill of goods they sold the country about Agent Orange use in Vietnam. It would appear that those who went to Iraq will be hung out to dry about DU contamination much as we who went to Vietnam, and were contaminated by AO, have been over the past 35+ years--where is the "honor" in that?

The DoD and Pentagon should try telling "DU is harmless" to the tens of thousands of Iraqi's and Iraqi children who have been decimated by the thousands of tons of DU all throughout Iraq. DU has taken the outbreak of before unknown forms of cancer, as well as huge numbers of children born with birth defects, to new heights in Iraq.

The same thing has happened in Kosovo. The same thing is happening to the people who wear this nations uniform and have been exposed to DU while in Iraq.

Here in the U.S., Bush and Company pontificate about our "hero's" serving in Iraq, and how we must support them, as well as making sure the troops have everything they need, while at the same time continuing to deny the harmful effects of DU contamination--in fact, the military will not even authorize testing for DU contamination even when the "troops" start getting sick.

So much for BushCo and "compassionate conservatism;" so much for "honoring the troops."

The following is a collection of reports, articles, and links to organizations on the front lines on the issue of DU use and contamination. It is a must read, as the information presented is extremely important.

There are two major things the "troops" will bring back from Iraq with them--massive levels of PTSD--post traumatic stress syndrome--the other will be the huge numbers which will develope myriad illnesses as a direct result of depleted uranium contaminating.

Neither of which this nation is even remotely prepared to deal with. It is going to be up to us, out here in the "great unwashed masses" to force this nation's governing body to address the issue of DU contamination--as they will not do it on their own, of that I am certain.

Here is "Trail of a Bullet" without any further ado:
