The heinous crime against the Holy Book Qur’an carried out by the US-Nazi occupation forces was revealed and published by Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI). Thereafter the occupation forces admitted the manipulation, shooting at the Holy Qur’an as a military target at one of their training.

After this confess, AMSI accuses the occupation soldiers of the necessity to change the fields of so-called training.

To cover up for this heinous crime the occupation forces announced that they opened an investigation with the soldiers on this issue, alleging that it respects Islam and Islamic Creed.

At the press statement AMSI had said that : "The US occupation forces composed of three tanks and Hammer type vehicles throw the copy of the Holy Qur’an on a person staying in al Rami Centre near to the police station located in Radwaniyah area on Sunday, 11 May 2008 and opened fire at him."

It is the first reaction to these accusations Colonial Billy Banker from the occupation forces said that his forces opened an investigation with the soldiers because of this behavior which he described as pessimistic.

Regarding the investigation Bailey said that : "Our forces continue to investigate who would be subjected to these despicable acts to make judicial proceedings. They have to make commitment to training and received orders to respect including the Islamic custom."


AMSI Condemns the Silence on the Crime Against the Holy Qur’an

The General Headquarters of the Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI) issued a pres statement condemning y the press department of Culture and Information, a crime against the American occupation book God, the Constitution of this nation.

HEYET Net – At the press statement the Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI) condemned this heinous attack and blamed all those who involved in this project of the occupation.

AMSI also carried the occupation and its current government fully responsible for this violation.

The US occupation forces composed of three tanks and Hammer type vehicles throw the copy of the Holy Qur’an on a person staying in al Rami Centre near to the police station located in Radwaniyah area on Sunday, 11 May 2008 and opened fire at him.

The eyewitnesses from the region narrated that these forces had this heinous crime in front of guards at the police station leaving the Holy Qur’an in the area having implications of firearms and offensive expressions written on one of pages.

This heinous crime shows how hatred these black leaders and members of the occupying forces have on the Holy Koran and Muslims. This crime also indicates the volume of bankruptcy and disillusion of the occupiers what made them mired in their actions, as evidenced by this despicable act of premeditated intent of the occupation and how it slip away methods of concealment of intentions.

The Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI) condemned this heinous crime against God's book, the Constitution of Islamic nation, a source of pride and dignity.

AMSI also condemned the silence maintained by all parties involved in the project of the occupation.
